Monitor a list for changes
Turn on monitoring for a list of companies and get told when something happens on it, by email or through a feed.
Monitoring keeps a list of companies under observation. Prospex reads the commercial register, the press, job boards and company websites every day, and a monitored list tells you when something happens at one of its companies.
While a list is open, the sidebar shows its Companies, Signals and Outreach under Lists. The Signals page shows the stream in the browser. It can also arrive by email, and Connect on the list gives you revocable JSON and CSV URLs.
1. Start from a list
Any list can be monitored. Your lists are at prospex.ch/app/lists/:

2. Choose what counts as news
Events are grouped into five topics, and a monitored list reports the ones you keep: company structure, leadership, products and positioning, growth and finance, and company news. Turning off a topic is how a list of your fifty accounts stops telling you about their job postings while still telling you about their capital increases.
Monitoring counts from the moment you turn it on. A company added later counts from the day it joined. Older events stay readable on the list's Signals page.
3. Choose how you hear about it
- The Monday email. One email a week, with a section per list. On by default.
- Instant alerts. An email soon after an event lands, on the topics you name for that list. Off by default, behind a master switch in your notification settings, and with at least 3 hours between alerts.
- Pausing. Stops both emails. The list and its history are kept.
4. Get the rows out
The list signal feed reference covers the session-free JSON and CSV URLs. With an API key, the list API reads the same signals. Both resolve the list's current companies and selected topics whenever they are read.
Rows count against the same daily budget as every other download: 5,000 per account per day, refused with a 429 once spent.
