The 25 largest capital increases in Switzerland (last 12 months)
Swiss companies raised CHF 3.2 billion in share capital over the past year. Here are the biggest moves.
Updated
Over the past twelve months, 1,351 Swiss companies increased their share capital, for a combined CHF 3.2 billion. The top of the list is dominated by financial infrastructure: Pfandbriefzentrale der schweizerischen Kantonalbanken added CHF 600 million in April 2026, bringing its capital to CHF 2.8 billion. Saxo Holding in Basel followed with CHF 418 million in March.
Below the headline figures, a pattern emerges. Several companies appear more than once. Calik Renewables raised capital twice (CHF 68.5 million in March, then CHF 30 million in June), and Calik Enerji Swiss did the same. Lidya Globus Swiss completed two rounds totalling CHF 180 million. Repeat raises often signal sustained investment programmes rather than one-off events.
The canton of Lucerne stands out for the concentration of large raises by holding companies. Zürich leads by total volume, driven by Pfandbriefzentrale and several real estate vehicles. For more on how to read these entries and what they mean for sales, see our guide to tracking capital increases.

A capital increase in the Swiss commercial register means the company's shareholders have committed real money. For B2B salespeople, it marks the moment a company has fresh resources and is likely investing in growth, infrastructure, or expansion. The full ranking above shows the top 25 by increase amount.
